Accredited Parenting Coach

I am a mother to two little ones who have taught me that everything I knew going into this parenting game was wrong! It is way more challenging with many more surprises along the way; all absolutely wonderful and fulfilling of course.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in elementary age children and parenting. I have worked primarily in elementary schools as well as an outpatient clinic providing affordable mental health services to youth and their caregivers. My training includes trauma informed care and the effects that Adverse Childhood Experiences plays in future outcomes of a person. My passion is utilizing families strengths to create a more positive family unit.

I am a certified parenting coach through the Positive Parenting Program and truly believe that the role parents and caregivers play in a child's life can greatly shape their future outcomes. Every caregiver has their own unique way to respond to their children based on their own upbringing, experiences, as well as current stressors. You as the caregiver are the expert on your child and your families needs. As a parenting coach, my job is not to tell you what to do or how to raise the children, it is to work along side of you to create the environment that you strive for within your wheelhouse of strengths.
